In celebration of Burns Night I thought I'd post on my favourite blog based in Scotland- Hello Mr Fox. Hannah, its creator, studies in Edinburgh and I love the presence of nature and the wilderness in so many of her posts, so it's no surprise she studies Zoology.
Just as I fell in love with Stockholm through Sandra's writing at Niotillfem, Hannah's blog has also led me to fall in love with Edinburgh from afar. It's packed with second hand and charity shop finds from Scotland so I've saved all my christmas money for a wee splurge and I can't wait to hop on a train up there this weekend to explore for myself!

tumblr feels like opening other people's scrap books that you can put in your own. I used to find things I loved in Sunday supplements at my neighbours houses and secretly cut them out, carefully folding them away in my pockets. It's a shame we can get away with so many things when we are young.

Wow Birthday Season is filling up. Had to get up extra early today to search for what on earth I am buying so many amazing friends. It is also Aubrey's First Birthday Tea Party tomorrow, which means I have to make the living room look a little less Trainspotting and a little more... well anything would be good. Also, did I mention our oven doesn't work, rendering any actual baking impossible. Gin and Eclairs have never let me down before. Wish me luck.
