London Southbank

Last weekend I headed to my fave building on the Southbank- The Royal Festival Hall. If you ever have a free afternoon it would be one the best places in London to spend it.
I was accompanied by this lovely lady- Naomi- and our mission was simple: finding the cheese and wine festival. It turned out to be a handful of nice but very pricey cheesey things, not the edam ball pool I had in mind. So instead we spent a lovely afternoon just at the riverside.

We managed a sneaky trip to the Japan Centre, where we bought a lot of amazing sushi. Obvs we gobbled it down a bit too quick but this grape/watermelon hybrid drink was also amazing.

Instead of dairy treats I came home with this bag; guaranteed to add a little colour to my commute!

  1. This day looks so delightful...I'm really missing the crispness of that light (as in the photo of the book stall where everyone is wearing coats), as Auckland, even in winter, remains slightly warm or just rainy. What I wouldn't give for a breath of crisp morning spring air! x
